Kelly Neilson is a documentary photographer based in South Lanarkshire.

She graduated with a degree in Photography and Film from Edinburgh Napier University in 2012, and then took some time away from her art to join the brutal rat race.

Tired of the successes and high income the ‘real word’ offered her, she decided to become a poor, starving artist again.

Returning to her one, true passion - photography - she now immortalises events which reflect the crazy times we live in. From middle-class protesters to Sunday league football, she’s always out there to document the slow, painful decay of modern society.
